Life
Trained in Germany and France at the beginning of the 1930s, Ahmed Badraxan was the mainstay of the great studies Misr, architects of the spectacular development of Egyptian since the middle of that same decade cinema. After debuting in 1937 with a film at the service of the famous singer Um Kulzum, Nasheed el Amal, Badraxan became the usual filmmaker of the counted - but very resonant - film appearances of the same (directed four of the six films she performed: Dananir, Aida and Fatma, besides Nasheed el Amal) and in the great figure of the commercial cinema of the time. Although the musical was one of the most cultivated genera Badrakhan - he worked for other stars of the song local (such as Shadia, the enormously popular Farid El-Attrach)-, his career is nevertheless fraught with forays into other genres
Next to the light melodrama, no doubt his two specialties (including or not songs), Badraxan performed a couple of biographical films of some interest: Mustafa Kamil, on an Egyptian national hero, and Sayyid Darwish, about a legendary singer of the early century. Allahu morning is, for its part, the most representative of a number of nationalist and patriotic exaltation films made by Badraxan and which coincide with the arrival of Nasser to power, even though it wasn't in return to their genres and common formulas, which grew until the end of his long career.
Ahmed Badrxan had a major role in persuading the founder of the Egyptian economy, Talaat Pasha Harb, to establish Studio Misr, to become a major Egyptian institution for the graduation of Egyptian filmmakers.Badrxan was appointed as a director in the studio, but due to disagreements with the director of Studio Misr, resignation.
